330B1 Pilgrims House Eastbourne's oldest house and thought to be the oldest in England built 1134. The 13th Century, Lamb Inn (as popular now as it ever was) was built facing the church. On the other side of the road, is the timbered house, Pilgrims, which has mediaeval origins and is thought to be one of the oldest inhabited private homes in the British Isles.
